| April 27th, 2013 - Hubbard Comes Up Short at DIS |
 Enjoying a rare weekend at home Austin made the last minute decision to travel to Delaware International Speedway (Delmar, Delaware) on Saturday night for a Weekly Racing Series Event. He started the evening by winning his heat race from the last position. For the feature he started in the eighth position and was up to the fifth position with just two laps to go. On the final lap Austin threw a hail mary heading into the corner and would slip off the top of the track to a tenth place finish.

| April 21st, 2013 - Hubbard Bags First Win of 2013 |
 It was a busy weekend for Austin and Hubbard Motorsports as they initially planned to enter a tripleheader with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMS). However, as has been the theme thus far into the 2013 season his plans were modified by Mother Nature as Friday night's event at Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex was postponed by rain.
As a result Austin entered a $2,000-to-win event at Georgetown Speedway (Georgetown, Delaware) on Friday evening, and it proved to be a great outing for the team. The program served as the season opener for the facility, and Austin started his night by blasting to the heat race win to earn a front row starting spot for the main event. In the feature Hubbard drove away from the field to claim the win, which marked not only his first win of 2013, but his first win in over a year! "It was a big shot in the arm to get back to victory lane," a relieved Hubbard noted. "It's been a long time since we got a win, and now that we've done it again hopefully it will lead to several more this year." The weekend concluded on Sunday night at the recently reconfigured, 4/10 mile oval at West Virginia Motor Speedway (Mineral Wells, West Virginia). With thirty-two Super Late Models in the pits, and Hubbard again quickly found himself in the hole early in the night as he battled the setup in time trials. He failed to advance through the field in his heat race, which pinned him starting deep in a b-main. In the b-main he advanced to a fourth place finish, but with only the top three cars moving on to the feature he was forced to again utilize a provisional to start the feature in the 25th position. During the course of the 50 lap, $10,000-to-win event Hubbard advanced thirteen spots to a twelfth place finish. He received Hard Charger of the race honors for his efforts. | April 13th, 2013 - Hubbard Competes with National Dirt Racing League |
 Enjoying an off weekend from the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) tour Austin went into action over the weekend in Chad Stapleton's #32 Barry Wright/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model in a pair of $20,000-to-win, National Dirt Racing League (NDRL) Super Late Model events in Kentucky and Missouri.
The action opened on Friday night at Paducah International Raceway (Paducah, Kentucky) as a stellar field of fifty-five Super Late Models entered the event at the 3/8 mile oval. Heat race action found Austin missing the transfer to the feature by one spot, but he finished second in his b-main to lock into the twenty-first starting spot for the 75 lap finale. Unfortunately his feature outing before it ever got started as a broken fan belt on the parade lap sidelined him to a twenty-fourth place finish. Saturday evening found the action shifting to Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 (Pevely, Missouri) as fifty entries made the trek. The second fastest time in his group in time trials locked Hubbard into the pole position for his heat race, and after a great battle with Eddie Carrier Jr. and Scott Bloomquist he finished second to lock into the ninth starting spot for the main event. | April 6th, 2013 - Hubbard Has Rough Weekend in the South |
 Austin Hubbard resumed action with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMS) over the weekend as the tour invaded the South. Unfortunately the weekend began with a rainout as the $10,000-to-win event at Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi) fell victim to rain on Friday evening.
As a result the team traveled to Lone Star Speedway (Kilgore, Texas) on Saturday for another $10,000-to-win program. Thirty-nine Super Late Models converged on the 3/8 mile oval, which presented competitors with an extremely heavy and rough surface. A third place finish locked Hubbard into the twelfth starting spot in the feature. He was running in the top ten on lap 10 when a lower control arm broke, forcing him to retire from the event to a twentieth place finish. Austin is currently thirteenth in the LOLMDS standings.
