June 24th, 2016 - Hubbard Goes For Scary Ride in First Night at Lernerville
1After the weather postponed all of the events scheduled for Thursday night, Austin Hubbard was one of fifty Super Late Models signed in at Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, Pennsylvania) on Friday night for the 10th Annual Firecracker 100. Posting the 3rd fastest time in his group twenty-five, Hubbard earned the pole position starting spot for his heat. Falling short of a transfer spot, Austin logged a 6th place outing sending him into the B-Main. After running in 4th, Austin was in contention for a transfer spot until he suffered a right-rear flat tire while riding the high-side sending him over on his roof. Hubbard was able to climb out of the car but did suffer a pretty serious incision to his ankle ending his weekend early.

June 12th, 2016 - Austin Hubbards Competes with the Appalachian Mountain Speedweek Series
1On Monday night Austin Hubbard traveled Path Valley Speedway (Spring Run, Pennsylvania) for the Appalachian Mountain Speedweek series. With thirty-seven cars signed in, Hubbard suffered some body issues in his heat race but managed to secure a 12th place starting spot for the $4,000-to-win feature. Losing six positions in the A-Main, Hubbard retired an 18th place outing.

Returning with the Appalachian Mountain Speedweek series on Thursday night, thirty-eight cars were signed in at Hesston Speedway (Hesston, Pennsylvania) for a $3,000-to-win A-Main. Failing to hit a transfer position in his heat, Hubbard cruised to a consolation win earning him a 20th place starting spot for the A-Main. Storming through the field twelve position, Austin worked his way into a top ten finish landing an 8th place finish.

On Friday for the second night of action at Hesston Speedway, Hubbard recorded a 15th place finish in the 50-lap $5,000-to-win A-Main.

1The following night brought the Appalachian Mountain Speedweek followers to Hagerstown Speedway (Hagerstown, Maryland) for a chance at a $3,000 payday. In a stout field of forty-seven cars, Hubbard earned a 10th place starting spot for the feature. Breaking into the top five, Austin landed a 4th place finish behind Dan Stone, Marvin Winters, and Jason Covert with Rick Eckert coming 5th. (Jason Walls Photo)

Closing out the busy week with the Appalachian Mountain Speedweek series, thirty-nine cars stopped at Selinsgrove Speedway (Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania) on Sunday for a $4,000-to-win feature. With 40-laps to gain some ground in the feature, Hubbard logged an 18th place finish.

June 4th, 2016 - Another Round of Bad Luck for Hubbard at Delaware International
1Running with the Ultimate Super Late Model Series, Austin Hubbard visited Georgetown Speedway (Georgetown, Delaware) on Thursday night for the First State 40. Competing in a field of twenty-eight cars, Hubbard earned a 4th place stating spot for the feature. With $5,000 on the line, Austin fell back to a 21st place outing.

1With the weather affecting his plans, Hubbard stopped at Delaware International Speedway (Delmar, Delaware) on Saturday for the regular night of racing. Running into more trouble into the feature, Austin’s night was over after another car made contact with him during a restart damaging his right-front shock.
