May 29th, 2016 - Austin Hubbard Heads South for World Outlaws Event
1Back behind the wheel of his AMH Enterprises #1 Super Late Model after a month away, Austin Hubbard made the trek to Bedford Speedway (Bedford, Pennsylvania) on Thursday for the Johnny Grum Tribute. With a stacked field of thirty-seven car signed in, Hubbard failed to hit a transfer spot in his heat transferring him into the B-Main. Battling for a bid into the $4,000-to-win feature, Austin came up short.

The following night brought Hubbard to Tyler County Speedway (Middlebourne, West Virginia) for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series (WoO) Jackpot 100. Competing in a field of thirty-three Super Late Models for the two-day event, Hubbard logged a 7th place finish in his heat sending him into the B-Main. Transferring the top three into the opening night $8,000-to-win feature, Austin fell one spot short of a transfer position with a 4th place outing.

1Returning on Saturday night for the $10,000-to-win Jackpot 100, Hubbard recorded an 8th place outing in his heat transferring him into the B-Main. Failing to hit a transfer position with a 5th place outing, Austin was granted a provisional into the main event. Coming from the 12th row, Austin Hubbard wheeled his way through the field thirteen spots in the 60-lap affair posting an 11th place finish in a stacked field of drivers. (Howie Balis Photo)
