June 20th, 2017 - Double Duty in Camp Barnes Benefit Races at DIS
1On Tuesday night Austin Hubbard traveled to Delaware International Speedway (Delmar, Delaware) pulling double duty for the Camp Barnes Benefit Races. After starting the night off with a heat race win in the Crate Late Model division, Hubbard posted a 3rd place finish in the feature trailing Joe Warren and Matt Hill across the finish line with Tyler Reed and Chip Disharoon completing the Top 5 finishers. In the Super Late Model ranks for the $3,000-to-win A-Main, Austin was leading the 25-lapper until he broke sending him into the pits.

June 10th, 2017 - Hubbard Closes Out Appalachian Speedweek Series With Mechanical Trouble
1Austin Hubbard returned with the Ernie D’s Appalachian Mountain Speedweek Series on Friday night for the event at Williams Grove Speedway (Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania). In a field of 24 cars, Hubbard followed up the second fastest time in his qualifying group with a 4th place finish in his heat race. Slated to start 12th for the feature, Austin completed the opening lap until he suffered engine troubles ending his night immediately.

For the final night of the Appalachian Mountain Speedweek, Austin stopped at Selinsgrove Speedway (Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania) on Saturday for another $4,000-to-win A-Main. Moving up one spot in his 10-lap heat race, Hubbard logged a 6th place finish positioning him 16th on the starting grid for the feature. Running into more issues in the feature, Austin failed to finish in his second straight night out bringing a disappointing end to his weekend.

June 3rd, 2017 - Austin Hubbard Begins Appalachian Mountain Speedweek Series at Hagerstown
1Kicking off the Ernie D’s Appalachian Mountain Speedweek Series, Austin Hubbard was one of 55 Super Late Models signed in at Hagerstown Speedway (Hagerstown, Maryland) on Wednesday night. Following the third fastest time in his group, Hubbard locked his spot into the opening night feature with a heat race win. Starting in 7th, Austin jumped one position in the 40-lapper recording a 6th place finish.

The following night in a field of 43 cars at Susquehanna Speedway (Newberrytown, Pennsylvania), Hubbard suffered mechanical issues in time trials dropping him to the back of the field. Passing five cars in his heat race, Austin scored a 5th place spot locking him into the 20th-starting spot for the $4,000-to-win A-Main. Breaking into the Top 10, Austin Hubbard improved ten spots to place 10th.

1Friday night brought 33 Super Late Models to Bedford Speedway (Bedford, Pennsylvania) for the Gigs Foor Tribute. Posting a 2nd place finish in his 10-lap heat race, Austin earned the 4th-starting spot for the feature. Bringing home a podium finish, Hubbard gained two positions in the 40-lap affair notching a runner-up finish behind Walker Arthur with Kyle Hardy, Jared Miley, and Andy Haus completing the Top 5 finishers. 1Austin ended the busy week on Saturday at Virginia Motor Speedway (Jamaica, Virginia) for the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series sanctioned USA 100. After laying down the second fastest time in his qualifying group, Hubbard secured his spot into the $20,000-to-win A-Main with a 3rd place finish in his heat race. Rolling off 8th for the 60-lapper, Austin Hubbard brought out a caution on lap 7 after running into mechanical trouble. Unable to join the field from the tail, Hubbard was credited with a 23rd place outing.
