August 18, 2018 - Austin Hubbard Kicks Off World of Outlaws Weekend
1Austin Hubbard invaded Georgetown Speedway (Georgetown, Delaware) on Thursday night for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series sanctioned Fulton Bank 40. Holding his spot in his 10-lap heat, Hubbard recorded a 5th place finish earning him the 14th-starting position for the opening night feature. With $10,000 on the line, Austin slipped back to a 22nd place outing.

After Mother Nature wiped out Friday’s program at Williams Grove Speedway (Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania), Hubbard headed to Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pennsylvania) on Saturday night for the $10,000 top prize. After failing to record a lap in qualifying, Austin jumped up four spots in his heat to place 5th. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the main event, Hubbard streaked to a 10-lap consolation victory positioning him 18th on the starting grid for the feature. Running into trouble early, Austin Hubbard got caught behind a slowing car on the track that created and pile-up and ended his night early.
